please do not compater with the low quality duplicate batteries,which found in local shop.Where others batteries die in 1 year, this battery has a little (max 15%) reduction in capacity. so it will give u a life time of about 5 years lasting with 50% capacity available. ,if it charged properly with original Sony charger.
